It is statutory that Sectional Title developments and Home Owners Associations (HOA) appoint a Board of trustees/directors to manage the affairs of the estate. Hereafter both of these bodies are referred to as the Board to eliminate repetition; estate infers complexes and other names that may from time to time be allocated to communal residential living.
Trustees/directors offer their services voluntarily with no financial remuneration; the duties of trustees/directors are conducted during their private time. A managing agent is normally appointed to act on behalf of the Board and the jurisdiction of a managing agent is normally exclusive to the financial portfolio of the estate which includes levy collection. All contractors and service providers are outsourced and appointed by the Board; Ecliptic Estate Management is not responsible for those portfolios in their own right, but is responsible for managing and communicating with them on behalf of the Board and for ensuring that the Board’s instructions are conveyed in return.
